Team News: Tuilagi set to make first England start since 2013

Manu Tuilagi is set to make his first start for England since 2013. Having been set back by injury for a number of years, he will be starting at inside centre when England face Ireland in their Six Nations opener on Saturday.

It was reported that Ben Teo was in line for the starting position but was ruled out through injury meaning that the space opened up for Tuilagi.

Henry Slade will start at outside-centre with Owen Farrell at fly-half creating yet another new midfield partnership.

When speaking to the BBC Eddie Jones said, "I just felt for this game the best option was to play Owen Farrell at 10 and Manu as a like-for-like replacement for Ben Teo."

"Manu has impressed us at the training camp and is right to play."

Jones has picked a very strong team to face Ireland with many believing that this opening game could decide the outcome of the Six Nations.
