Ben Youngs on Saturdays game: "It's not about me versus Conor"

England face Ireland in the first round of the Six Nations this Saturday and they will hope to get their campaign off to a winning start.

Last year England finished 5th, something that they will definitely be looking to improve on this year.
Ben Youngs will be playing an important role on the weekend ensuring that he can get quick ball from the breakdown. His box kicking will be vitally important as England will have to play in the right areas of the field in order to win.

In an interview with the BBC Ben Youngs said, "I hope we will be a lot smarter this year. In fact, I know we will be."

The scrum-half went on to say that "You have to win on the floor and in the air against Ireland."

When asked about facing his opposite number, Conor Murray, Youngs said, "he is a key cog in Ireland but you can't get drawn into this one on one."

"We have to defend smartly and put kick pressure on him, and try and win the ball, but it is not about me versus Conor."

The pressure will be on England this weekend as they travel to face one of the strongest sides in the world. The winner of the battle of the scrum-half will be a deciding factor in the game. I can't wait!
