Rocco Injured. Baths key selections for Toulon.

Rocco is injured. Baths go to option on the wing is injured and is out of the European clash between Bath and Toulon. 

Rokoduguni requires shoulder surgery which will see him miss the start of the Six Nations as well as the double headed clash against Toulon. Could this mean Rocco's international career is over? With top class winger Jack Nowell now back after injury I doubt Bath's superstar will be involved in the England set up again. Eddie Jones has quite openly criticised Rokoduguni for his defence. Or lack of. A more defensive winger with a higher workrate like Nowell would therefore be expected to be in Eddie's squad.

Although the loss of Rocco is significant, Aled Brew has been playing incredibly well so far this season. Brew is a similarly powerful player to Rocco and can definitely produce a good enough performance to do Bath proud this weekend.

In other selection news, Priestland has been picked over Burns in the fly-half position. A few fans would have been expecting to see either Burns or Priestland playing at 15 with Watson then on the wing for Rocco. It seems that Blackadder has gone for the safer option of sticking with Watson at fullback with Brew on the wing.
