After the European double-headers we are now back to the Aviva Premiership. First up we have a massive clash. Two teams at the bottom of the league, Worcester vs London Irish.
London Irish go into this contest with 8 points compared to Worcesters 14. It is a real must win game for Irish if they wish to stay up next season. I am expecting a great game of rugby with Wayne Barnes taking charge for the 191st time in the premiership. An outstanding referee.
More predictions of the weekends rugby will be published tomorrow so make sure you take a look.
Both teams have shown some promise this season. London Irish have beaten Harlequins and had close games with Leicester and Bath. Worcester have done slightly better with victories over Northampton and Leicester.MATCHDAY! Come on down tonight for our Christmas Fixture with London Irish! There's plenty going on! 🎄🎅🎁🏉— Worcester Warriors 🏉 (@WorcsWarriors) December 22, 2017

As the match is being held at Sixways and given the latest form from both teams, I am expecting a win for Worcester. I really hope that Irish do win however as it will spark a real battle at the bottom of the league. Hopefully it will be a high scoring game and kickstart a great weekend of rugby.Welcome to Sixways for tonight's #AvivaPrem clash against @WorcsWarriors just over three hours until kick-off! #WARvLIR pic.twitter.com/kmeKX7r2Am— London Irish (@LiRFC) December 22, 2017
