Fight night is tomorrow. Not long until we see a fight to remember. A fight, which in my opinion, determines the pound for pound king of boxing. Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux. Wow.

Both fighters have a great amateur record with over 800 victories between the two fighters. Vasyl Lomachenko has a professional record of 9-1 with 7 of those victories coming inside the distance. Guillermo Rigondeaux has a professional record of 17-0 with 11 knockouts.

Both fighters met the weight limit with Lomachenko weighing in at 129 lbs whereas Rigondeaux weighed in slightly less at 128.4 lbs. Lomachenko is the naturally heavier fighter with Rigondeaux having to move up two weight categories to take the fight. Despite this, there is a secondary weigh in tomorrow morning only allowing the fighters to gain 10lbs in rehydration weight. This may limit the benefit that Lomachenko has with his extra weight. The WBO super-featherweight title will be on the line. Who’s going to win?

Both fighters have such a great boxing style and it will be great to see these styles clash together. Many boxing experts have split opinions of the outcome of this fight, making it a real 50/50 battle. I hope it lives up to the hype and that if it’s a cracker then there is a rematch in the contract.
