England vs Argentina

England vs Argentina. Ugly, but a win's a win.

Sam Underhill has been a phenomenal player for Bath so far this season and it was great to see that he brought this talent into the England shirt. Having been described by Eddie Jones as an out and out 7, an area which England have been struggling to occupy, it is likely that Sam Underhill can become a regular starter for England. With an outstanding number of tackles made in every game he plays, Underhill was one of two defence captains in Saturday's game. Making 21 tackles at an international game is almost unheard of and if Underhill can continue doing this then he can really be an influential player for England in years to come. I like the way Sam Underhill plays. He is not afraid to put his head anywhere and you would always back him to make a tackle. I hope he gets given the opportunity to impress again against Australia.

Henry Slade is an exceptionally talented player. He has the ability to play almost anywhere in the back line. He definitely has the skill to play international rugby but I would like to see him given the opportunity to play at 13 against Australia outside Farrell and Ford. This would give him a further opportunity to impress at international level. I think even Slade himself would admit that he was unlucky in Saturday's game and it would be truly unfair if Eddie Jones dropped him after this limited opportunity. The more time he is given to develop at the international level then the more likely it is that he will play in the same way that he does for Exeter.

Although it is never nice to see a player go off injured, I was pleased to see Rokoduguni given the chance to play for England again. Watson did a great job at 15 and I hope to see him playing there for England more frequently. Rocco got a try and I believe he is one of the most underrated players in England. He has to just keep improving and I believe he will be in the England squad for the world cup.
