Tyson Fury - Boxing Licence

Tyson Fury was at it again. Tweeting. Tweeting things which he goes back on a number of minutes later. He has to have the most retirements in boxing history. It seems like every week he changes his mind about whether to make his comeback or not. I rate Tyson Fury. Every current heavyweight would not be able to handle Fury. His boxing ability is world class and with trainer Peter Fury, a game plan for any fighter will be executed to perfection. The truth is that something strange is going on with Tyson Fury. The fact that it has taken so long for everything to happen suggests that there is a reason. This could be that Tyson has something to hide and by prolonging this he hopes that it will all go away! The facts are that Tyson will not apply for a British Boxing licence. As he said in a later tweet, this does not mean that he will not apply for a different license. There is the option of getting an Irish or American license. Hopefully this will mean that the champ will make his return and threaten the poster boy of British boxing, Anthony Joshua.

Having read about Ortiz's latest drug test causing his fight with Wilder for the WBC belt to be cancelled, I have begun to wonder how much cheating actually goes on in sport. Ortiz claims that the medication found inside him was for high blood pressure which I find hard to believe. If you have already been caught using drugs, which Ortiz has, then surely you make sure you name all of the medication you are taking on the form. You would even state that you had taken a paracetamol. It is due to this that I believe Ortiz should be banned from the sport of boxing. To be caught multiple times is embarrassing and should result in this. The sport of Boxing is so dangerous and taking these drugs could end somebodies life. It is disgusting that this happens. The truth is that when there is a prize or a reward people always cheat so why would it be different in sport? This is why many athletes are doping. The way of fixing this issue in boxing is to have random drugs tests all year round. At the moment there are only tests during training camps and on the fight night. The truth is that the drugs are also being used before the athletes go on their camps, meaning that they go into camp already fit and by the time of the fight they are out of their system. The truth is though the fans want to watch great fights. They do not want to watch two fighters who are out of breath and knackered by the third round. They want to watch a 12 round thriller. This is why there is such a big issue with sport.
