This is it. The night before the big game. Not long to find out if this composite team has what it takes to beat the current world champions. Can they do it? They have the pace, skill and ability in the back three to really put on a performance. And with the 10-12 combination of Sexton and Farrell they are sure to be given a lot of quick ball. One thing that is for certain is that the All Blacks will be up for this game. Steve Hansen has said that his legacy would be questioned if they lost this game. His men will be fired up and it will be a real physical encounter. The last time the All Blacks lost two times in a row was in 1998 when they lost to South Africa and then Australia. Statistically it is unlikely for the Lions to win. In the second test the Lions played against a 14 man team for 60 odd minutes. Although Mako Vunipola did also get a yellow card, which also put the Lions down a man for 10 minutes, the All Blacks out classed the Lions for most of the game. Despite this, a win's a win. The Lions will have gained confidence from that win. They have been training hard this week with reports of aggressive and heated training sessions. According to Warren Gatland this was similar in the build up to the final test in 2013, which the Lions won to win the series in Australia. Things could be looking hopeful. With the skill the players have, the belief that the team has and the experience of the coaching staff, I am looking forward to cheering the Lions on to victory tomorrow morning.
